25 Years
Payroll & HR
Not a wall of logos. A record of actual investment.
Andy founded Axiom Human Resource Solutions in 2011. He's spent 25 years inside payroll and HR — not selling it from the outside, but actually doing the work. Now he's betting that AI changes everything about how HR firms operate, and he's building that future himself.

Most people in the payroll and HR space talk about AI. Andy spent the last several years actually learning it — not delegating it, not attending a luncheon about it, but putting in the hours. These are the credentials. They matter because they represent a pattern: a 25-year operator who refuses to outsource his own expertise.

The operator record. Verifiable, unglamorous, and earned one client at a time. The mission has always been the same: help companies win with technology, backed by humans who care.

One program. Twelve weeks. Eight hours every Wednesday. The kind of commitment that shows up on your calendar and stays there.
Structured, hands-on leadership development. Not a seminar. Not a webinar. Twelve weeks of showing up every Wednesday for eight hours and doing the work.
What that actually means
96 hours of structured leadership development — while running a 25-person company. Andy doesn't outsource his own growth. He shows up. That's kind of the whole pattern here.
Leadership is also learned in the field.
Andy has spent years on search committees at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Indianapolis — including the one that brought Pastor Joe — and is currently active in the Pastoral Associate search. Turns out, discernment, patience, and sitting through long meetings are useful skills whether you're selecting a pastor or running a business. He's been on the Voters Representative Board for three years. The training is never really over.

Purdue University — Krannert School of Management
1996–2000
Economics gave Andy a framework for how things actually work — incentives, systems, tradeoffs. Turns out it's a useful lens for 25 years in payroll and HR. Krannert is a rigorous business school. West Lafayette is a good town. Boiler Up.
The degree started it. Twenty-five years of actual work continued it. The AI training is ongoing.
